We had a stopover in Qatar on our way to Europe so decided to extend it and spend two days seeing the city and the desert.

Five days in Czech Republic, drinking beer, eating goulash and readjusting to the cold weather of European autumn/winter.

Four Days in Vienna, soaking up the culture.

8 Nov - 11 Nov

A last couple of days enjoying the city life, soaking in some Hungarian baths, eating, drinking and exploring the city.

11 Nov - 16 Nov

One day in the city before we hire a car to drive around the country hiking in the mountains.

16 Nov - 21 Nov

Five days relaxing on the Croatian beaches, except it’s November so probably not much swimming. We can find some nice coastal hikes instead.

21 Nov - 25 Nov

Hiking in the mountains out of Schkoder, hiking along the river in Berat, and hiking on the coast of Serande.

25 Nov - 1 Dec

Hiking and exploring near Ioannina and Meteora before a few days seeing the sights in Athens.

1 Dec - 8 Dec

A week in the arctic winter, ice skating, snow shoeing and hopefully watching the norther lights during the long nights.

8 Dec - 14 Dec

We had to go through Spain to get to South America, and we have a few days with a car to see the Basque country, practice speaking spanish and drinking local tempranillo.

14 Dec - 26 Dec

Nine days around Cusco and hiking the Inca trail before flying to Lima for some beaches and fresh ceviche.

26 Dec - 9 Jan

Three days in Santiago where we meet up with Ash and Yianni, then up to Atacama for four days of stargazing. Then we head down to Patagonia to hike the W trek.

9 Jan - 25 Jan

Another eleven days in Patagonia on the Argentinian side before we head north for one day at Iguazu falls and three days in Buenos Aires

25 Jan - 3 Feb

One day in Colonia del Sacramento and two days in Montevideo before we head up the coast to a quiet beach town for a week.

3 Feb - 18 Feb

Two weeks exploring taking tours and buses around the amazon, the high desert salt flats, and Lake Titicaca

We arrive in the US on 19 Feb to end our holiday and start looking for houses, jobs, and all the other things that responsible adults have to do.
